Shelter of Care works among abandoned children and young people in the city of Iasi, north-east Romania.

Our current projects are designed to make contact with young people while they are still living in institutions and project homes, and provide support and services to enrich the quality of their lives.

We also provide a variety of support services to help young people who are transitioning from state care to independent living through Project Amos.

Through trained Christian counselors, we are able to provide counseling to meet the specific needs of young people and adults who have experienced the trauma of abandonment and a childhood in an institution.
